Foundation to Fortune

Building a solid foundation to be successful

Fortune is about impact, freedom, and personal growth. In this workshop, we’ll explore how success can be measured in multiple ways and highlight stories of entrepreneurs who scaled their businesses while creating meaningful lives. Students will then design a simple ‘Pathway Plan’ by outlining three steps they can take to move from where they are today to where they want to be.

Learning objectives

Mindset and Motivation

  • Identify personal motivators and entrepreneurial traits.
  • Recognize the role of resilience and adaptability in business success.

Vision, Mission and Values

  • Write a clear “Foundation Statement” combining vision, values, and goals.
  • Explain why values and ethics are essential for sustainable entrepreneurship.

Systems and Tools

  • Apply at least three practical systems (financial, organizational, relational) to strengthen their business foundation.
  • Develop a personalized “Success Toolbox” for daily operations.

Pathway to Growth

  • Define what “fortune” means in their entrepreneurial journey (money, freedom, impact).
  • Design a 3-step “Pathway Plan” for scaling from foundation to fortune.

Community and Support

  • Understand the role of mentorship, collaboration, and community in
    entrepreneurial growth.
  • Commit to one new connection, habit, or action step that supports their Pathway Plan.
